Special Features:
Tall drought-tolerant plant with large 2" pale purple to rose colored blooms. Bee and hummingbird friendly. The tall flower stalks rise above foliage that is blue-green and waxy. Also called 'shell-leaf' or 'large flowered' penstemon. Found along meadow and river valleys of the Great Plains states.
